Canthopexy in Tunisia

This is a cosmetic surgery that aims to beautify the shape of the eye. It can fix eyelids that droop or sag due to sun damage, prior eyelid surgery, aging, or paralysis. This surgery will tighten and possibly elevate the lower lids.

The canthopexy surgery involves changing the position of Canthus (outer corner of the eye) often to enlarge the eye and give it what is called the eye of a’ ‘star’ ‘.

The intervention of plastic canthopexy is performed under general anesthesia. It is made by a sub-ciliary incision; peeling is performed to the level of the withdrawn canthus in order to be repositioned higher at the level of the lateral orbital rim (bone).

Westernization of the Asian eyelid Tunisia

This is a cosmetic surgery to transform and beautify the eye. As its name suggests, it consists of westernizing Asian eyes by creating an eyelid crease in the upper eyelid where it does not initially exist.

Performed under local anesthesia, a blood test is required before this cosmetic procedure. The procedure involves making an incision in the crease skin of the upper eyelid to create simulating to the Western eye. It is often accompanied by a fat liposuction to dig an eye that was swollen at the first place.
