Presbyopia treatment by Presbylasik 

The purpose of Presbylasik is to restore the multifocality of the cornea by creating two viewing zones onto the cornea. A central zone for near vision and a peripheral zone for distance vision.

The intervention of Presbylasik, same as the Lasik, is to cut a corneal flap with the Femto laser, then lift it to allow the work of the excimer laser. This component will be repositioned without suture. This operation is painless and takes only a few minutes.

The Supracor is the latest generation of multifocal laser treatments for presbyopia. The advantage of Supracor is that it allows a symmetrical correction of the 2 eyes for near vision and far vision. It also allows treatment of patients who do not have clear ocular dominance.
